Neil Young - Farm Aid 2007

[FANTASTIC Audience]

Not too long ago I posted Neil's show from Farm Aid 2008, here's the one from the previous year! John Mellencamp introduces him as "one of the most terrific songwriters of our times" and who'd want to argue with that!? Not me!!!!

Neil played a really great and enjoyable set, he's also talking a lot about why he's supporting Farm Aid and seems to be in a good mood and happy to play the fest. Yeah, this one's great!

The sound is great, makes you feel as if you're among the crowd enjoying the great music. That's what you should do: Enjoy!!!

Neil Young and his Electric Band - New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, May 3rd 2009

Neil has played this year's New Orleans Jazz festival along with other "famous Jazz artists" like Bon Jovi and Kings of Leon. Nothing wrong with these bands, but just like Montreux, the term "Jazz Festival" seems to lose it's meaning....

Neil played on Sunday, the final day of the festival, before the Neville Brothers delivered the closing set (as every year btw!).

This is an audience recording, but a quite good one. Part of the set is electric, part of it is acoustic and he's also playing some songs from the "Fork..." album. Recommended!

This boot was quite a hot item in 1992 because a lot of the songs were unreleased at that time and back in an age without internet and CD-writers such boots were the only way of getting hold of some rare stuff - along with tape trading (remember?).

The Mynah Birds - Lost recordings (feat. Neil Young & Rick James)

The Mynah Birds were a short lived Canadian band in the sixties and featured Neil Young and Rick James as well as Bruce Palmer (Buffalo Springfield). These recordings were thought to be lost but resurfaced a few years ago.

Neil Young - Glastonbury Festival 2009

Yep, this is exactly the same recording posted on T.U.B.E. not too long ago. I didn't steal their files though. I actually contributed them, so I thought I might as well post them on here, too. If you got it from their site already, you don't need to download these files here.

The show is incomplete, but this is all that was broadcasted by the BBC, so it is the most complete version you'll find. Neil really played a great show and you can tell how much fun he had doing it. He just doesn't seem to want to stop! Check it out!
